My Sweet English Teacher

I just found out today that my English teacher,Mrs. Sandy Schmuck, passed away near when I started my year with her. She is my video English teacher. I wish I could have met her. But I will. She always talked about her experiences with God,and helping us students with throwing almost Bible lessons in all her English lessons.
She died of an incurable blood clot at the age of fifty-two. It made me want to cry. She has been, since I started seventh grade, one of my favorite teachers. She is in Heaven right now so much happier than we can even imagine than she was on Earth. She ALWAYS smiled so brightly. I will miss her so much when I am done with this year, which I almost am. Here are a few pictures of her:

She is a sweet, kind, and happy person who lives in Heaven. My sweet sweet English teacher.

A great radio show and Mother's Day

Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile. I just wanted to share with whoever is reading,a great radio show.
It is a wonderful women in Christ who does a five minute segment of show every week day on BBN(Bible Broadcasting Network.) Her name is Joni Earekson Tada.  Here is a link to her radio archive:

Here is Joni's story:

Joni Eareckson Tada, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of
Joni and Friends International Disability Center, is an international
advocate for people with disabilities.
A diving accident in 1967 left Joni Eareckson, then 17, a quadriplegic in a wheelchair, unable to use her hands. After two
years of rehabilitation, she emerged with new skills and a fresh
determination to help others in similar situations.
During her rehabilitation, Joni spent long months learning how to paint with a brush between
her teeth. Her high-detail fine art paintings and prints are sought-after and collected.
Her best-selling autobiography “Joni“ and the feature film of the same name have been
translated into many languages, introducing her to people around the world. She also has
visited more than 45 countries.
She has served on the National Council on Disability and the Disability Advisory
Committee to the U.S. State Department
She is Senior Associate for Disability Concerns for the Lausanne Committee for World
Evangelization and serves in an advisory capacity to the American Leprosy Mission, the
National Institute on Learning Disabilities, Love and Action and Christian Blind Mission
International, as well as on the Board of Reference for the Christian Writers Guild and the
Christian Medical and Dental Society.
After being the first woman honored by the National Association of Evangelicals as its
“Layperson of the Year” in 1986, Joni was named “Churchwoman of the Year” in 1993 by
the Religious Heritage Foundation.
She has received numerous other awards and honors, including the American Academy
of Achievement’s Golden Plate Award; The Courage Award from the Courage Rehabilitation Center; The Award of Excellence from the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center;
The Victory Award from the National Rehabilitation Hospital; and The Golden Word Award
from the International Bible Society.

 Joni has a wonderful family.
Okay...tomorrow is Mother's Day. If  really I think about how God has blessed me with such a good Mommy
I am so happy. I love my family.

Rejoice in the Lord always, I will say it again: Rejoice!

Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.

And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:4-7

I love those verses. I hope ya'll have a great Mother's Day.
